Tutoring Activities
Tutoring is a support service for the university study path, consisting of welcoming, guidance, and assistance activities for all students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Sciences. It serves as an intervention tool especially during the early stages of the university career and is therefore primarily aimed at first-year students. It provides academic support with the goal of helping students overcome any difficulties that may arise during their studies, improving the quality of learning, and reducing the risk of dropout.
Currently, study support activities are organized for the Bachelor’s Degree (First Cycle Degree) in Geological Sciences in Mathematics and Physics (first year, full-year courses), as well as Chemistry (first year, first semester). However, if there are additional needs related to other courses (including subjects within Earth Sciences, both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs), targeted teaching support initiatives can be arranged.
Courses, usually held in the afternoon and after official classes, take place in the DiSTAR classrooms, taking students’ needs into account.

TUTORING for the Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Sciences
Students are informed that the Tutoring activities for the Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Sciences, provided by the Department of Earth, Environmental and Resource Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II, will continue during the second semester as well (https://www.distar.unina.it/it/lt-scienze-geologiche/tutorato).
Study support activities will continue in particular for the first-year annual courses in Mathematics and Physics.
Support activities may also be arranged—upon request—for other courses within the Bachelor’s Degree program.
