•    Fluid and melt inclusions studies: utilized as a valuable investigative tools in multiple geological studies such as in petrology, volcanology and magmatology. The ongoing research projects are finalised to study the relation between pre-eruptive content of volatile elements and compounds in the magma and the eruptive style; for the study of timing of the eruptions, they are devoted to the development of a model that can give indications about the residence time of crystals inside the magma chamber/s before being expelled through an eruption
